Our Core Principles

ChatHub is built on the belief that everyone deserves a space to connect authentically. To foster this, we expect all users to uphold these principles:

• Respect: Treat every person with dignity, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
• Honesty: Be genuine in your interactions. Misrepresentation erodes trust.
• Safety: Look out for yourself and others. Report concerns promptly.
• Inclusivity: Welcome people from all walks of life. Discrimination has no place here.

What We Expect

All users should:

• Be kind and considerate in conversations
• Respect personal boundaries and consent
• Use appropriate language and avoid harassment
• Report violations without fear of retaliation
• Keep the platform fun and welcoming for everyone

Prohibited Content & Behavior

The following are strictly forbidden on ChatHub and will result in immediate removal from the platform:

• Harassment & Bullying: Targeting individuals with threats, intimidation, or hate speech based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
• Sexual Content: Exposing yourself, soliciting sexual acts, or sharing nude or sexually graphic material. This includes nudity and sexually suggestive behavior during video chats.
• Illegal Activities: Discussing, promoting, or facilitating illegal acts including drug trafficking, theft, fraud, or violence.
• Personal Information Sharing: Doxxing—sharing someone's private information without consent—is prohibited.
• Spam & Advertising: Promoting products, services, websites, or other platforms without permission. This includes sending repetitive messages or using the platform for commercial gain.
• Impersonation: Pretending to be someone else, including celebrities, public figures, or other ChatHub users.
• Self-Harm & Suicide: Content that promotes or glorifies self-harm is not allowed. We encourage those struggling to seek help through appropriate support services.
• Underage Use: Users must be 18 or older. Any content involving minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to authorities.

Enforcement & Consequences

Our moderation team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action based on severity. Possible consequences include:

• Warning: First-time or minor violations may receive a warning with guidance on expected behavior.
• Temporary Suspension: More serious or repeated violations result in temporary account suspension (ranging from 24 hours to 30 days).
• Permanent Ban: Severe violations—including harassment, sexual content, illegal activities, or underage use—result in immediate permanent removal.

We strive for fair and consistent enforcement, but we also consider context and history. If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal through our contact page.

Reporting Violations

If you witness behavior that violates these guidelines, please report it immediately. You can:

• Use the "Report" button during a video chat to flag a user instantly
• Fill out our contact form with detailed information about the incident
• Include the username, date/time, and description of what occurred

All reports are reviewed promptly. We do not disclose the identity of reporters to the reported user.
